i wouldn't do the other dog thing just yet i would give it a week or two just to see if all is still going good and as far as the pets' belly i would get some triple antibiotic ointment to put on it you can use the cheap stuff like the store brands and see if it will help it should start healing in a couple days or so if not then i would take her to a vet and get her checked out just as a precaution ..

CDH, it sounds like you very possibly could be dealing with a secondary staph infection. It'll look almost like big ant bites, once they've opened, they're almost the size of a pencil eraser. That's really common with wet, muddy areas. I see it a lot with dogs hunting in briars in marshy land or muddy water areas, not creek bottom (running water type) but still water type grounds. Sloughs and such or even dogs in places that just stay wet, like here in MS until recently that were just getting lots of rain that had nowhere to run off. Penecillin will eventually help that but isn't quite the right antibiotic for what you need. You need something with a bit more kick or more specific. Cephalexin will do okay, Primor is the best for that, but is a bit pricey - about 10 days worth.
For the mange mites in the houses, you need to clean the bedding out and spray them really good, then put clean bedding back in.

well i dont think its staff because the worst spot is about 3/4 as long as my finger. and the spot on her belly is bigger then my hand, but since the shot of penicillin it has dried out, and stopping pussing. but now my bird dog scratched the skin off her. i think she washed off the treatment, i beleive im gonna dip her. and im gonna give allmy dogs a shot of penicillin this evening.
