we headed out this morning in some real flooding rain, but as we got about 1 hr from home it quit. we went into one block and jake was off running with his head up, katie followed both open. after about 100 yrds we cut the tracks they had winded. this yote went down by a few of the other and they got their hounds( skoal & max) in the chase. hillbilly finally dropped this yote after 3 blocks and 7+ miles. while we were in that 3rd block, we cut somewhat fresh yote tracks, katie was workin them while the other hounds were coming to her. we got katie, bess, rooster and jake in on it and they were off. after 4 or 5 blocks and who knows how many road crossing we cut off jake and katie as they fell behind. we caught up bess a little while later a few more roads and blocks away, then rooster. i forgot to check the miles on my gps, but it was most likely double the 1st chase.

By george, that'll test the "mettle" in your dogs won't it. Sounds fun!
