if you're willing to pay $500 throw an extra hundred bucks in and you can get the Garmin Astro with the GPS and all (but it just comes with one collar) from Gun Dog in Starkville for $600

www.gundogsupply.com/garmin-dc20.htmlthis is what i was thinking of, it's a closeout sale on the DC-20's for $149, a friend of mine's got the DC-20 and a new DC-30, and he said he's never been able to tell a difference in the two

I'd try to stay with a quicktrack system if you weren't going with a Garmin GPS - and I agree, call Joey, he'll hook you up and treat you right on a new or good shape used system. Quicktrack will honor their products...even if you're not the original owner. We use the QT systems right now....as money permits, we'll be going with a Garmin 10 dog system.

i use to use tracker systems, and was pretty high on them. but i got rid of it for several reasons, you just cant beat a trx64 or a trx1000. i say stick with wildlife. i have some buddies who have quick tracks and from what i have seen they are good systems too.
