Hey there Think I know some of you guys from other boards--killcoyotes, shooter, houndmomma, etc. : ) I have a redbone, Clamour, that I hunt coon with. He's mostly a potlicking pleasure dog that lives in the house with my husband and me. We split our time between Brooklyn, NY and the high peaks of the Catskills. The Clam dog does have a field champion title, but he is mostly a happy-go-lucky pet, slow to open on a tree and willing to stay there all night while a woman past her prime climbs the mountain to get to him. Nope. my husband doesn't hunt.
