I sure like those plotts. Are they silent or open mouth? We mainly run curs here around lake Texoma area. I see some plott at bays once in a while though but havent ever had the honor to hunt with one.

there are lines of plotts that are silent. but in the country i hunt in a silent dog is not disired because you'll spend more time working the tracking box than anything else. the lines i hunt are open or semi open. in my opnion the plott dog is the best all around dog to hunt if you're after big game.

he should he's got breeding out his hind end. i've got a couple buddies with dogs from that stock that are really good dogs. but at leas he'll make a good cross with the females i've already got.

unfortunately i lost that pup in a puppy fight. though that problem is solved will be no more puppy fights at the house. got rid of the ill little cur pup that started it.
