Hi I am new here.I am a turkey and deer hunter .have never hunted predators.we are in Kemper co.,Ms.How do I go about thinning the bob cats and foxes we have alot .Do I need dogs to hunt cats?

You dont necesarily need dogs to hunt cats, but thats about the easiest way to get it done. Not that they are a pushover, cause they are far from it. And just because you have dogs doesnt mean you are going to get it done either. The cats around here(AZ)are hard to get to come in to predator calls, but they can be had. The fox come in without hesitation. I will most likely not gain any freinds in saying this, but trapping will thin them out with the best results. Bobcat hounds are few & far between. Any dog can tree an occasional bobtail, but to do it consistently...it takes a special kind of dog & they are among the minority...The elite!!!
