Can anyone tell me anything about him or his offspring? I bought a male off of him and a Magies Sticker gyp which I, and everyone else who has seen him run really like. Just wandering if anyone had one also or knew anything about him or his offspring.

I have heard from a guy I hunted with a few years back he was solid. You can more than likely find out some info on him in the Hunter's Horn.

barney's chase goes back to J&R CJ which was in my opinion one of the best producers of all time. I have seen allot of chase dogs, most with real good speed. the ones I have seen seem to hunt pretty good and are tough enough. Chase has produced some good dogs and his bloodline is as strong as it gets. JMO

You can't leave out any of Ronnie Terrebonne's on that list of best producers. He maybe gone, but his blood line is still run around. I'm lucky enough to have one of them.

What breeding do you have, Blackjack? There are allot of great producers. Dash Rip Rock, Canoy's Ringo, White Cat, CJ, just to name a few.

Rebelyell, I had rather not sell him but am considering studing him out but dont know if there would be enough interest to do it. I just think that it would be hard to do with all of the stud dogs out there today. I would breed him for free just to get some pups out there off of him. So far I have only bred him to one gyp, which is a half walker and half july, shes nothing special just a good track running female with average speed. But the pups started quick and have great feet and above average speed. And I will breed him again, as I am well pleased with them. Foxvalley, as far as the breeding on my dogs they all go back to dogtown skipper, williams rebel lee, bonners scooter, and clown be, I`m not sure about the july breeding in my half breeds though as the guy I bought them from who is a friend of mine got mad at me and conveniatly lost the julys papers.

I have a male off Teat's Banjo. Teat's Banjo is off (Terrebone's Benji x Hemphill's Classie).

I like the Hemphill's Happy II blood and the Yellow Jacket Hale blood. That is what most of my foxhounds go back to.

I ain't field trialing much anymore. It costs too much to travel plus my job won't let me off much on the weekends. We still run once a week near Laurel, MS and we've got some pretty good CULLS if I do say so myself. Some of the guys that are puppy hunting a lot have ran with us lately and after it was over they wanted to know why we weren't trialing them hounds. haha. I got me a young Hale bred hound now that can fly! Plus he's got a helluva good mouth to boot! I'll try to post a picture of him if i can.

hey Tony we all are doing fine. We are running about once a week but not field trialing much because it costs too much to travel. I posted some pics on here under the hounds / running walker category. check them out.
