Post some pics on here of you dogs running yotes or yotes that you have gotten. Foxes are fine too.
And if anyone has any movies of the dogs chasing the yotes/fox post em.
Thanks, 54

Sadly Ive never killed a coyote.... BUT if I dont kill anything else I wanna kill a coyote, a bear, and a wild-turkey........ We run the hell out of coyotes back in the club with the deer-dogs and we kill our share of them as well.... In the summer when it is to hot to run dogs during the day we ride through and look for yotes standing in the field and hopefully he wont make it back to the woods.... I have been trying their --- for a while now and cant get right and kill one for some reason.... Im falling behind, my Dad has killed one with his 22lr PISTOL!!!! And also my uncle is way ahead of the game and has killed 4 with the rifle.... 300Mag and 243WSSM........ I intend to get one someday though.... In the meantime I got a good yote story if yall boys dont mind readin a lil........
The last week of deer-season we where hunting in a small-block of short pines and this place is straight loaded with yotes.... We dumped dogs on a deer and eventually the deer turned out to be a doe so we broke the dogs off and sent them back in.... Wont long they jumped again and made circles in that little block for a SOLID two hours just running and scorching a yote!!.. I mean it was a solid roar in that place with all them long-legged walkers and redbones!!.. Also my three treeing-walkers where right in there withem!!!! Well the yote never did come out until somebody in the club went home and got a FRESH dozen walkers and dumped on the race.... They went right to it and when they got there we had somewhere around 24-26hounds running one yote!!.. It was nothing but a roar and that tired yote couldnt stand it and broke across a road.... Thats where my uncle shot at him with the 243WSSM but missed and the yote crossed over.... The race continued in the next block until some boys went on foot with a shotgun, forced the yote to come back out and another boy shot him with a rifle.... That has gotta be one of the most exciting yote hunts Ive ever been on and it was all with deer-hounds.... Now after that, the next day the dogs run deer just as perty as youd wanna see but it was still a good yote race........ Thought yalled wanna hear this so takemeasy and good-hunting............-tim

lurchers are a cross between running dogs,i.e greyhound, whippet, saluki, with another dog, most type of terrier,my dogs are half greyhound, half bedlington terrier.
