How has Turkey hunting been for everyone? It has been decent here in Florida, I called in Five Longbeards for a young man in Cummers Pasture outside of Macclenny, Fla opening day of youth season and he killed a nice one then called in two more the next day for another young hunter and they gobbled good and we worked the birds both mornings and had to move on them several times until we got to were they felt comfortable coming in. Since I have Killed one in Alachua county right outside Gaineville were I live and called 15 longbeards to the gunbarrel that have been killed by Family, Friends and clients. They have been working but they seem standoffish compared to some years but I think it has been the weather we have been having. Roosted one yesterday evening and I am going after him in the morning, I am sitting at work just chomping at the bit waiting on 5:30 am when I get off work, hopefully he will play the game and the rain will hold off. Going to Georgia in a few days and going to try my luck at some easterns. Good luck to all, I will post some pics soon.

It was a little rough this year for us. I killed one the first Sunday and one the last Sunday. On the public land I hunt, they pretty much quit gobbling after the first 2 weeks of season. with the woods so dry, I couldn't get away from people.

It was tough here. I struck out but quit going halfway into the season.
