Hey guys/gals, I went hunting sunday and it started raining,I got very wet and so did my browning A-bolt, when I got home i wiped the gun off and set it in the corner and ate dinner, after dinner,I got my gun cleaning kit out and grabed the gun, it had a light coat of surface rust on it, mind you this in just a madder of a hour and a half, now the gun has specs of dark on it where all the surface rust was, not all over it but just a little bit, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on getting these spots off the rifle, its not bad and its not rust color now that I have cleaned it, but I have a grand into this gun and it kind makes me feel sick to see these dark spots on it, any ideas would be great, thanks.

0000 steel wool and rem oil it will get it off and it wont scratch the bluing the 0000 wool is the finest grade that they make and the is what i use just add a litlle rem oil and rub very lightly and it will polish back out just dont scrub it or you will polish the bluing right off remember very lightly
