I only ate it a couple of times, killed hundreds but always sell the meat. What I ate was not strong but I don't mind my meat being a little gamey, I enjoyed it.

In Texas you can sell the meat if you have a trapping license and during season. I just ask around to see if anyone wants to buy them, never had problem selling them.

Yea I just give mine to a guy and he sells them and then gives me free stuff out of his garden lol. Think its a good trade cause if he didnt takem I leave alot more sittin in the tree. If its cooked right in a hash I like it but not many folks make it to where I like it. I think its more or less the thought of it to me. They just look to much like a cat when they are skinned out. In fact back when my dad was huntin you had to leave a foot on it cause people were killin cats and sellin them for coons lol. Aint that some sorry sob's. But yea its got a strong taste to me but cooked right its good.

I heard you can soak it in vinegar and then in water before you cook it to get rid of the gamey taste... what I've ate before tasted like pork with a little more grease
