that dog will end up dead, only thing that a coyote will not be able to kill is a 12 gauge a beagle only stands a good chance when its the predator...ie...hunting with the pack but when the coyotes have the pack a beagle or a hound or even a pitt will be At a MAJOR disadvantage against a pack

thanks thats what i figured, the lady said she wants a big ruged dog, but i think if thecoyotes are 80+lbs and 4 or more of them, the dog would be that more food for the coyotes. il tell her to get som kind of self protection, by law anyone can by a can of mase even bear mase. ma not be much but its something

I didn't say that dog could handle A PACK of yotes i said it could handle A yote. And i'm not gonna say it'll kill it but THE yote wouldn't kill it.

i chased down a yote up here where i live and it was a good 80 pounds on scale, they will chase u down or come up to u looking for food, it went for my young hound pack so i ran it down in the swamp and beated its brains out, it was medium sized, some get over 100lbs up here, boy i wish we had some 50 pounders up here by the time ther 1 yr their 70-80 pounds, we dont have wolves here because the state and hunters wiped them out years ago thats why ther overpopulating every where

thers alot of pigeries and cow farmers that leave piles and piles of food from schools out in fields, so the deer and coyotes eat the food and get huge and alot more vicous, even the deer will go after the farmers and cows, but they clear out for the coyotes.

You must be feeding them things something special up there, Not saying some get big, but the biggest yote i have ever seen was 76 pound killed in canada. You might have something else running around besides yotes.

yea i know the thing that doesnt help my state is that they dont want ther to be any wolves or people to think ther is or that the wolves and yotes are inbreeding together, ther was a pure wolf pupy picked up by the dog oficer and raised for 8 years with a family and it got loose and came runing up to me like a husky it jumped up on my shoulders and was excited to see me, the dog oficer took it and they tested it and it was a pure timberwolf, the bad thing is that people want wolves to return here so they bring them from up north to breed with yotes. i found out yesterday that ther are wolves being caught and coyotewolves being caught too, people think yotes are bad at least they dont eat a 20 yr old dresage horse alive, that hapened here in december
