I've had the Astro for over 4 years now and have pretty much figured out most things.. I have one issue that I have never been able to figure out and have a feeling it can be done.
I have more than 10 collars. We also have multiple handhelds. Is there a way to manually add a collar to be tracked if you know the frequency ID it is on? I'm always worried one of the collars we are not tracking will get put on a dog and then we have no way to track it. If I keep track of the ID's can I add it manually without having to touch it to the handheld?
Thanks

I think you have to touch it to the hand held.

You don't have to touch it to the machine.
Go to the dog list, then down to "add new". When it asks you if you can touch it to the handheld, enter "no". Then it will ask if you know the ID, enter "yes". At the top it will have a list of available ID #s. Just enter the # of the collar you want to add.
Some times the # you want to add won't be there , so you may have to delete a collar you have saved to add the new one. For some reason, it won't let you enter 2 collars with the same last # ( 1 knocks out 11,21,31 and41).
