Bryant I thought you guys run marine band? Isn't that vhf or uhf?

Bryant I thought you guys run marine band? Isn't that vhf or uhf? We use FM radios but they pick up VHF but on different frequencies. It's the best of both worlds.

ICOM 2200H with a slight modification ;D to receive more channels
65 watts outta the box too. I can turn on my radio at my house and hear them running in the club. I use a dinky roof mount antenna but if I put back on my small whip antenna that I had on my white truck it would lengthen the range even more. 10-15 miles is good enough for me though

how much they run and where did you get yours. do they use cb or marine antennas

I just started running that this year. Nice to sit at the camp and talk to them when they are running across the forest 15 miles or so.
