i have a 3 yr old female that been getting seizures sinse the end of hunting season......she eats great i feed joy high energy dogfood..... then i had a male beagle that had the same thing happen yesterday around noon. that was trying to get up but the back legs were so stiff, they would not respond (legs) couple of minutes he was fine..this is very strange..to have do-it.. in 1 week.... the only thing is different is i put ear tags on there collars could this be the problem? i used them in the past... also i use panucur,ivomec. some where i read people use GINGKO BILOBA & RAW VEGGIES......vitamins..nutri-cal..etc...natural remedies!!! any help thanks cliff n..... I had a beagle that done that. He was really high bred and I think thats what it cam from. He didnt start till he was over a year old. The vet can give you a pill for it. Mine would only doit it when he was stressed or scared or like when he was really exicted like when a rabbit would jump up right in front of him. I dont no that does sound a little suspicious both of them starting all of a sudden though.

A weird toxicity from the tags could definitely be a cause for a 2nd look. I'd take them off and see what happens.

2 of my dogs do it every time they gget excited but thell have it then thell go back tohuntin the vet says it hereditary
