man thats a nice catch. think I even see a big ol cat in there. Water in the swamp around heres still to high and ive been burnin up to go. What do you mean by blue bait.

dang never seen a worm like that. Bout all you can find round here is night crawlers or red worms. If you get lucky you can run across some wax worms, but ive just always used crickets for any kind of pan fish and used worms for cat fish.

The blue bait is found locally, near the swampy areas. We have some here who dig the bait and sell to bait shops. This bait will not raise in beds, they have to keep moving since the amonia seems to build up quickly. They are prefered by the fishes here it seems. a hint if anyone here looks to dig them: look for areas near the water where you see that pigs have been rooting. Seems the pigs love to eat them too. I usually would start digging where the pigs quit rooting.
