I have some new pics of Miss Hazel
But for some unknown reason I cant get them uploaded to my photo
bucket to post or send.
She's now about 12" - 12 3/4" a good lookin little gal if I say so my self.
It is just to dad gum hot to run down here at the present time.
She burnt them up in the pen. Im waiting for the weather to change
down here for some cooler days. She will still go Im sure of that
Just hit the wrong time of the year.
Me and a buddy went out and checked out some new bunny runnin grounds near my home.
saw lots of tracks rabbit poop and its thick cover for them.
But we also saw one of the Biggest Eastern Diamond Backs
This ole boy has seen in a number of years.
This uggly monster with out a doubt was at least 6 1/2 FT. probably
6 -8" in diametter. He was laying out beside the fire ditch just sunning
himself. Either of us didnt even bring a handgun. We looked for a limb
or somthing to crush its head. when we found a ole pine limb
to smack him the snake started crawling into a palmato thicket
and either of us was going in to find him .
We started to take a couple puppys out there, Im sure glad we didnt
we would have been without a few pups im affraid...
Severial people in my area have told me they have killed more rattlers
this year then previous years .
Me and rattle snakes dont play well together ;D
