Nice Blue!
We recently moved and now live at a place that has a 3 acre stocked pond. They told me it has catfish. Well, I go tightlining with my livers LOL! Got my rod set up on the forked limb, sitting in my lawn chair when all of a sudden, my rod launches 10' out in the pond! WTF!
Next, I catch one. POP! Broke 12lb test like like nothing. Happened again. So, I rig up with 20lb test. POP! Breaks like nothing. WTF? So, I rig up with some 50lb test line. OK, try that!
Well, my son and I caught 12 bluecats. We each caught one that was 20 pounds each. Most were about 15 pounds average. The smallest was 12 pounds!
FISHFRY!
I have a pic of my son holding up his 20lb fish he caught, grinning ear to ear. It's in the camera and I will post it when it get's developed.

Actually front yard but, yea, it is NICE!
It is also stocked with white perch, bream and bass. However, the bass seem to have been over fished or something because not many left that I have seen. And the white perch are really hard to get on without a boat. It's a pretty big pond. But them bream and cats will come right to them if you call them right! LOL!
We caught 5 blues one night, was the most at one time and that ice chest was HEAVY let me tell ya! And had to tote it uphill from the pond to the house! Probably had about 75-80 pounds of fish in there! I went for about a week on and off about 6 months ago and I still have fillets in the freezer. I will need to restock this Spring.
