i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem not sure if its the antenna or not but my tracking box (icom r10) will not track that far even with the booster on it im talking about 3 or 400 yards and was wondering maybe its the antenna bc its kinda of banged up

check it w/ another antenna and different coax, the coax may be damaged from being kinked at some point, also check the 9 volt in the amp to make sure it is not dead

ya i am going to check it this weekend when i see one of my buddies up there huntin i know its not the battery in the amp bc i changed that and still the same thing

yeah i would bet a coke on it being the coax first try their 1 antenna and coax then 2 your antenna and their coax 3 and then their antenna and your coax
if #1 doen't chang any thing its either the collars or the box #2 you need new coax i recomend going w/ a high grade i use this stuff(http://www.midwaytelemetry.com/antennas.html) scroll down to the liftime warrentied stuff #3 your antenna is bad
