liljcross took that raggedy little bike, bought another one for parts and made a pretty handy "submarine" outta his recon. LOL It's certainly been entertaining!
Gotta say it's makes ya Mom proud to hear (or see) her son say "Never forget where ya come from" - lol outta the mouths of babes!

LIljcross, My pop just bought a muffler for his 95 bigbear for 50 bucks let me know what year model it is and I'll see what my buddy at the muffler shop can do. Its almost as quiet as a stock muffler and A LOT more quiet than his old rusted out muffler. I was scared he was gonna be breakin bays this spring with that thing

midnite, thing is, the muffler, pipe, and back rack are now "one." when i had the snorkle put on the exhaust i was thinkin they would clamp it to the rack. but oh, was i wrong. dude welded it. i have another stock pipe but the welding keeps me from changing it when i'm not in the water. at times i like the noise. thats another thing from putting something permanent, like EVERYONE around here and their 7 brothers had said to do. i'm thinkin of putting a stainless steel (or fiberglass) glass pack on it, but not all too sure what it would do, or how much it would help dampen the sound level, but any other ideas are MORE than welcome and THANK YOU! for the advice. it is ver.y much appreciated
and it is a 2000 Honda Recon.

Glasspak will change the tune, but won't make it any quieter. Clamp a 4-wheeler muffler to the pipe so u can take it on and off. From the looks of your pipe ,get u a bushing made to adapt down from the pipe.

You may not have enough back pressure to make the engine run properly with a glass pack, Completley free flowing is not always the best, even a race motor with open headers needs the primary lenght tuned to make the best power. the way pops muffler is made he has a spark arrester off the back of the muffler about 2" in diamiter which would work great to clamp your ext on too.
