Fellas got a real fast question on choke tubes.... Will me Charles Daly Chokes fit my Remington 870? Is it safe to shoot them with them in there cus I need to pattern some buckshot tommorow due to where we are hunting next week only allows shotguns for the most part (gotta be 8' off the ground to rifle hunt).... I really appreciate any help you can give me cus wanna see if my full choke does better than mod will with buckshots....-tim

i dont think the charles daily choke will fit the remington. charles daly uses the "multichock" and remington has their own type of choke which is the "remchoke" and my winchester uses "winchoke" and then there is an invector choke. mossberg uses the "accuchoke" the only other gun that i know for sure you can put your charles daly chokes in would be a weatherby shotgun. hope this didnt get too confusing.
and as far as chokes on buckshot i would stay with a full choke. if you are going to pattern 2 different size chokes i would pattern a full choke and a xtra full choke. modified gives way too much spread and you will only have an effective range of yards or so. the full choke should let you get out there to about yards and make clean fast kills
