my feist has got a bad case of ringworms ..took him to the vet 3 weeks ago and she said it was ringworms and gave me some shampoo to bathe him in every other day for 2 weeks and that should clear it up ..it helped a little for awhile but i noticed today they were lookin bad again ..anybody else ever had ringworms on their dogs?and if so what did you do about it ?..this is a first for me

Are you dogs on dirt in the pen ? Dont know if this can be done in dogs , but the Dr. I remember froze mine in my feet. Hope you find a solution soon ...

clean the bottom of the pen(spray clorox) because you get it from being barefoot

hes on dirt ..im to tenderfooted to go barefooted anyway..lol bulletproof Tramp from here sent me a PM I guess he got us mixed up, But here is what he sent me as a cure to try for the ringworms. Mr B. From Tramp- try shave area. get 7% iodine at farm store. apply around outside edge making circle smaller every day till its gone. good luck to ya.

shave area ..dang ill have to shave all 1 side and top of his head ..he got bout 5 or 6 ...thanx , i might give it a try

I use spray Lotrimin (most anything for Athlete's Foot will knock 'em out) - but Moffitt got some stuff (NuStock) I think is the name that worked wonders, better than the spray I'd used in the past. Iodine will work too, but it tends to burn, does need to be shaved around them if ya use that.

jcross,Ben was here last Saturday and we talked about this.He told me one of the pups,(I got one from him) out of Ellie & Checkers had them and it work's ,(Nu Stock for horses).
