Thanks for the Link . Some very good information in all of it.
I book marked it for further refference. Just lost a pup over the weekend, that I have know idea why and fast too. I think he might have ate or chewed some type of posinus plant out in the yard, dont know for sure though. He was up to date on his shots, worming and showed no signes of parvo, all other pups are fine . So I am lost and tore up on this one .

Thanks SS and bulletprof
I just dont understand right now why ! He was gone so fast and the Vet wasnt opened over the weekend or I would have took him in a heart beat . This little guy was going to be a good one too. You can just tell in some pups right away at least I have been able to tell , some have supprised me but not many.
For a 11 week old pup he had all the makeings of a great rabbit dog .

sorry to hear that mr b ..i lost 2 pups the same way early spring , never knew what happened and the other pups were fine bulletproof I just talked to the breeder of my pup She seems to think he had a blockage ... And the more I think about it , the more I think that may be what happened . He quit eating and pooping, with pups it dont take long before they are gone the way she explained it to me. Although I have never lost one this way, I have to concure with her about this. He ran a fevor , his nose was hot not moist and cool like normal . And pups this young cant shake things like older dogs can and give us a little more time to evaluate . To any of you guys, let this be in the back of your head as a reminder, If your pups will not eat or drink you only have a matter of hours to get them to the vet or your going to loose them . Unless you keep a Vet on standby for you, GET THEM TO THE VET ASAP !!!!!!!!! In my case the vet wasnt opened over the weekend, and my pup paid the cost . DANG I HATE THIS
