which is better the qtr 6000 or tracker maxima? i have read about the tracker maxima... the range that it advertises is when you hook a wire to it and run an yagi anntena in your hand... as it sits with the little blades that fold out, it does not get the range of the quick track system.... but im sure it gets enough to do a good job. i really do like the fact that the maxima is small and can go in a pouch on a belt but i have never used one so i cant tell you what i think about them.. they cost more too if you want one that will track all the freq.'s the qt will

mr beagler as far as shocking units go, you can get a tri tronics shock collar and transmitter for about 150 dollars. thats what i use and its a great unit. Thanks Brandon What unit is this from tri tronics ? is this a single dog or can it work more collars. Thats not a bad price, if New. I saw a add by collar clinic where you can get newly re-done units too. just depends on what you want . Like I said , im new to these things but willin to learn more.

sorry mr beagler, i just checked where i bought mine, its $240 i thought it was 150. but its still not a bad price, i own one and its a great unit. i had to shock my coon dog one time and she dont care nothin about skunks no more. its for a brand new unit with one collar included... recharchable. you can buy more collars and use up to 3 at a time, it has a switch that you choose which collar gets the shock. it has 10 shock intensities. www.gundogsupply.com/tri-tronics-g3-sport-basic.html
