If my memory is serving me right I think Diamond was the brand they had a problem with kiling dogs. wasn't it ? Or was it another brand ? " Any one Know for sure You are correct about the brand and they lied to all of their customers about the dog food befrore the truth came out.Countless dogs died because they lied and would not warn their customers about the problems. :oThey could have prevented hundreds if not thousands of dogs from dieing just by being honest and getting out an early warning to pet owners. :'(That use to be the only feed that my Dad used but he will not buy anything that they put out because of the lies they told him in his emails to them concerning the problems when it first started.Dad use to buy it by the ton before they lied and he hasn't bought a bag since.

I know a lot of people that stoped useing the Diamond because of that.Heard it was made with chicken parts from Asia.Hence the Aisan Bird Flu. I know all of that was going on at the same time.

I feed Enhance Hunters Edge, 24/18 year 'round, but it's probably not at the local tractor supply, if they have Purina, ask about their PMI - an off shoot of Purina, I fed that years ago and had pretty darned good luck with it and it was economical. They had a 21/12 and a 23/15 or something like that if I remember right....basically, I try to steer clear of a feed that has corn as the main product base in the 1st 5 or so ingredients and wheat gluten - otherwise you just have to decide what you can deal with as far as price is concerned. Dgo food companies have a racket and know it.
