I feed 21% River Run just about year round. in heavy running times boost it to 28%
Cost me $12. plus change for a 50 # bag higher protine is around $15 . plus Good feed and I get it at the local feed store do a google search on River Run to see if you have a local dealer.
40# bag is less they sell alot of it lots of dog hunters around me

ive looked it up and idk if there are any dealers out my way, i beleive there is one about 25 miles away and im only 13 and i dotn got my lisense and my brother or my mom wont drive 25 miles every 10 days. and i dont got enought dogs or money to buy it by the bulk or the pallet...... today i bought 2 bags of this stuff they got at tracter supper its in a white bag its call doggy bag. its great for off season, its not good for small dogs because the chunks are right big. it a 18/12 formula its great for when your not running, i bought a 8 lb bag of diamond high energy for when i go out running, itll feed my dogs say 2-3 times. that stuff i got will feed my dogs for the rest of the month. hell 18/12 formula will even let your dogs run a short day on the off season. so im gonna feed that stuff i got until i find a new brand, do you got any other suggestions?

Talk to the manager at tractor supply and ask him if he will order it . If you have enough dog hunters around you that would use it too and buy from T.S. he might would order it in the dog supply. Dont you have any older friends that drive and like to hunt ? Heck if they are hunting with you and your dogs, Id make that a requirement that they take you to get your feed or what you need for your dogs. " Thats not to much to ask " and they should be more then happy to do that for you id think. Heck man it would be your dogs pushing a deer for them to shoot... Set down the Law on that or let them fimd some where else to hunt with some one else's dogs.. Heck little Buddy thats only Fair !!!
What do the rest of y'all on here as members Think ?

We had one of the big feed stores go out of business in my hometown which sold alot of dogfood, and the kind i liked too. I switched to River Run, because i got some bags for free at a hunting club meeting. I feed the 21/8 for now, and they seem to like it. It is economical at 14.00 a bag too

We use the red bag from Walmart. Seems to be doing the trick at $15.99 a bag. Ken went in and compared ingredients with some other hi pro foods and it was the same. He switches to the brown bag during hunting season.
