i feed my dogs bread thats gone bad,chicken necks,chicken skin,chickin fat,chicken bones, pork bones, the tail and other scraps,beef fat, bacon greese, gristle from steaks,organs(from chickens,deer,rabbits,squirrels,hogs,cows, and so forth.) and other stuff.what scraps are good and what are bad, can you help me out?

any kind of "raw" meat is great for them. i feed chicken necks and rice, sometimes bread for some filler. road killed deer. any uncooked bones. the bone marrow is real good for them. "raw" organ meats from any animal is good too. keep it up the dogs, will love ya for it. and it's healthier and cheaper than kibble ;D

alright thanks, the local pizza joint would give me scraps but its not enough protein

as long as you dont guve them all the body bones out of chicken, you can pretty much give them whatever.

I would not recomend giving your dogs any fat... as in people the fat can cause physical problems, such as clog arteries.... Lean raw meat is the best..

raw bones are good, I even let them have fish bones ONLY raw (they LOVE catfish heads) - foods to avoid - onions, garlic (only in small amounts - they're blood thinners basically)
Grapes, raisins, chocolate are a no no - several others but those 3 top the list.

well i give them garlic pills or sprinkle some in their dog feed to keep the ticks off them( I take garlic pills for the same reason) it works great
