Hi ya'all! My mom went into the hospital and has congestive heart failure. She had a fluttering heart rate of 145 when she went in yesterday. It is currently at an 84. The problem is, she is in St. Louis, and I am here in Miss. From the sounds of it, she is gonna pull through it ok. I have spoken with her twice today and they have now taken her off oxygen and i.v. fluids. Everything she is taking is in pill form. She has lots of fluid around her heart and lungs and they are really pushing the lasics. If you all will say a prayer for her I would appreciate it.

the docs are now saying she has only mild cong. heart failure but she has pneumonia. that is what is making her heart rate go up and down. if they cant get it to stabilize, they will have to zap her heart with the paddles thursday.

They are doin the procedure today at 11am.. If everything goes alright, she informed me this morning that they are gonna let her go home tomorrow sometime... I just keep praying and hoping that everything will be alright!

mom is home from the hosp. she says that she feels fine. after awhile she has to go and sit or lay down cause she cant breathe. they say she has asthma too. she has lots of meds to take. but in the end she will be ok. thanks for the prayers...
