Some of the boys have gone to dual straight-pipes but with the cadillac-converters still on them so it will pass inspection.... But a buddy of ours just gutted out his caddillac-converter on his dodge and it sounds perty good, what do you think about this and do you think it will pass inspection....-tim

I gutted the one on my 4 runner but it was stoped up and I had lost a lot of power, when I gutted it got the power back.But we don't have an inspection in Ms. so that wasn't a wprry for me.So I guess I'm no help.

what year is it if its before a 97 it will pass inspection if not when they go to hook it up to the computer it will through off a code

mine has been not gutted but GONE now for about a month, nuthen has seemed to be wrong but a check engine light. and it says i have a bad O2 plug. and no, it definately would not pass inspection if it were inspected.

gut it. it wont have anyproblems passing inspection. i gutted mine about 2 years ago and have no problems
