Yeah I dont intend to get anything soon cus I wanna wait on the tires I got to wear out before I got shucking out some cash for new ones.... But when I do get new ones I definitley have decided on some kind of mud-grip so I can go places.... An A/T just dont look like it would do what I want it to, even if they do last longer than the MTs....-tim

well as far as miles they will handle.... i got over 80,000 miles on my buckshots and they are still on my truck right now. and i had a set of firestone wilderness AT's that came on the truck and i only got about 50-60,000 miles. so sometimes you can get more out of an mt than an at... just depends on what tire you have... and the most important thing with an mt is that you rotate it at least once every 6-8,000 miles to keep them wearing evenly.... the front end of a pickup truck wears tires really weird and if they stay in the same place too long they will not last long.
when i rotate i put my front right on the back left, my front left on the back right and move the back tires straight forward, and it does really good for me.
