How many of you have lift kits on your trucks??.. Some folks talk crap about them around here cus some folks think it makes them to high and some folks go over the top, but my truck sits to low in my opinion and want to get about a 4" or maybe 6" lift on my truck so I can get some decent tires under there so let me know what you think??..

a suspension lift is a lot more expensive but it is a true lift. a body life leaaves the frame or chassis of the truck in the same place and moves the bed and cab up in the air, then you have to hid the gaps and reveals... but you can do a body lift for 500 dollars. a suspension lift on my truck is about 2000 dollars for 6 inches and it is a real lift. it costs more for a suspension lift and it looks better. but most people do a big suspension lift and a little body lift and end up with a good lookin truck lookin like it has about 9 inches of lift.
a suspension lift actually makes the wheels farther from the truck body.... you make the axles farther from the truck by makin the springs taller pretty much....
