Fellas been pondering again even though thats dangerous for somebody like me lol.... ;D I like my little truck perty good but once the cb is mounted in there and everything else I got in there there is hardly NO room at all in there, no legroom with the cb in there at all so thinking about looking into a late model GMC or something like that once my funds will allow it lol.... I know its kinda early but I cant stand not being able ot move around ya know what I mean??.. I wish my dad hadnt got rid of his expedition or I would have bought that from him, it had plenty of room in it lol.... What do you fellas think about hunting in small-trucks??.. How many of you hunt in small-rigs??.. I know for me it is something aggrevating and makes me wanna drive my grandad's truck full-time lol but he wants to keep it for going to town and stuff so that is no go, you fellas takemeasy and have a goodun....-tim

I have a Mazda extended cab & it's crowded for my family to hunt. Have you thought about mounting the CB behind the seat (up high enough to reach the controls)? I've seen several fellas around here doing that with their regular cab trucks.

Sorry just saw this reply, had all but forgot this post completely lol.... But yeah I did decide to do that.... I mounted it like you said behind the seat and it works twice as good as before, I can reach the controls and everything is behind the seat out of the way.... Leaves plenty of room now.... Now just gotta get me some new speakers to go in that bad boy....-tim
