What kinds of roads are you guys running on that tears your trucks up so bad? We run 2 hours on pavement to get to the area, then of onto the dirt roads and in an hour or so. I haven't had any problems with mine this year (knock on wood). Our main problem is tires. Lots of sharp rocks. One year I lost two in one weekend. That was rough! Don't laugh, it works! Just got a new little ford ranger but needs a new motor.

Well HD I can only speak for myself. Here in MS. we have a lot of cutovers and the logging roads can be tough on a truck. And when it starts raining it gets even worse.A good 4X4 or ATV is a must have if you want to go to where the dogs are.

I know what you mean about the "red dirt"... My six acres is full of it. We have used the 4 wheel drive on the new truck more just coming out of the driveway. When it rains it is like a sheet of ice. Of course, Kris says I use the excuse that I cant get my car out of the driveway, just to take the truck... LOL

It did ok with the small tires on it but I had to be pulled out a few times during season. With the 35 " buckshots I should have the Clarence now.I wasn't crazy about the way the lift turned out.I had 4" blocks for the back and new springs for the front. And the front looks higher than the back. But I guess it will get the job done.I still have less than $3,000 in the truck..So I won't cry if I put a few scratches on it..LOL

Chris I think the truck looks great.... Everything cant be perfect and for a hunting-truck that will do awsome I think.... YOUR exactly right about not worrying about scratches.... It aggrevates me for somebody to buy a truck and then cry about it when it gets scratched up from hunting or muddy or something.... My Dad is like that bout his Dakota, it got a lil 2" paint scratch on it you can barely tell its there and I thought he was gunna have a fit over it.... Sometimes he fusses at me over my truck being dirty all the time, that he cant hardly stand to drive it or whatever but I bought and paid for my truck and its a TRUCK so Im gunna use it like a truck.... You wouldnt believe the scratches in mine lol.... Good looking truck Chris, takemeasy and have a goodun....-tim
