Well my track dog found another one last night! He has found four so far this year, and this is his first year! Last night I was trying to hookup a c.b. in my new toyota huntin' truck, when my hunting buddy T.J. called. He is the worst tracker ever, But I don't mind cause it always gives me a chance to use my hound! He had shot a decent buck about 10 min. after 6. There was a blood trail for about 40 yrds, and then he said it just ran out. I asked him if the deer was laying at the end of it, but he didn't think it was as funny as I did. So when I got out there, we unloaded ol' elvis, and he was going crazy as soon as his feet hit the ground. He drug me around for a while(elvis is about 90lbs now) trying to trail on just scent, before I got him straightened out on the blood. But when I got him on it, ooooohhhhh, ooooooohhhhhh, he had found what he really liked and it didn't take long after that. T.J. had shot a nice 7 point, not a monster but a nice buck for the national forest land. ;D ;D ;D

thanks dd, he is really turning out to be an amazing hound! At first I didn't want him to run deer or do anything except trail blood, but he will trail anything! I have come to find out that you can put him on just about any kind of scent, and he's gone!! My only complaint is he is just so hard to hold on the lead! I wish you guys could hear he mouth on that hound though, you can hear hm for miles around!(I know cause there have been nieghbors call from a good ways about him!
