garmin has a GPS dog tracking system that will show your dogs exact location on a hand held GPS.
has anyone had any dealings with it yet?

I'VE HEARD FROM OTHER WEBSITEDS IT WOULD WORK GOOD FOR BIRD DOGS BUT WHEN A DOG GETS IN THE THICK STUFF THEY DON'T LAST

looks cheap. i wouldn't trust it. by the time you go through all the functions you could already have a beep on the one of the other systems and be there, lol.

Will not work good in heavy cover.Works well for bird hunters in open areas but not for anything else.

That's my feelings too. I went looking for a system at a local store and that was the only thing they had. I told the guy I wanted something for deer dogs and he was set on trying to get me to buy that thing. I told him the briers and vines would eat thing up.
