I bought two Johnson collars last year with new 10000 hour batteries..Well my wife didn't like where I had my tracking system and moved it and the collars....I called myself taking care of these two collars by only using them in season.Because they were the only sealed battery collars I had.But when I got them out of the cabinet they didn't have the magnets in them, the magnets weren't even in the cabinet. That means the collars had been on scents she put them in the cabinet 9 months ago.. ..They still had a weak signal but not good enough for me to hunt with them..Thats about my luck!I guess it was my fault I should have put them up my self...And will from now on!

Sounds kinda like foulplay's luck....6 new quick track collars and bands holding the magnets on came off. They're being boxed up to send back for new ones....$60 a pop.

Sounds like my luck too.
I usually have the opposite problem, I leave the magnets in the collars and forget to take them out. I did this twice last year and luckily for me I called the dogs back to me both times

gotta watch those quick track collars those orings seem to rot easy. electrical tape works good and so an inner tube for a bicycle. i have had the same thing happen with them as well.
