I know that you all have some kind of game that is your favorite. Share the love! I know that season is here, and I'm looking for some new dishes. I'll start with our family fav.
venison roast in a large baking dish. Add crushed garlic, onions, mushrooms, banana peppers, soy sauce, whorchester sauce, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper, parsley, and olive oil. Cover and bake on 200-250 until tender. Slice thin and drizzle with left over juices.
Who is next?

Dog hunters deer stew
Get a good hot fire in the wood heater. We use a disposable roasting pan and put about 5 or 6 pounds of cube deer meat in 5 or 6 red potatoes chopped, 2 or 3 chopped carrots, 1 chopped onion. 3 chopped jalapenos peppers, a can of corn 1 can of beer. And what ever other vegetable you want or have handy..lol Add enough water to cover and set on the wood heater.Salt and pepper to taste.
Then you take 2 or 3 cases of beer depending on how many hunters, and a deck of cards. You play cards and drink beer when your out of beer the stew is done and ready to eat.Cooking time 4 to 6 hours..
