anyone here ever hunt one single deer? i have never pursued a single deer with a goal to take him by the end of the season, rather than a goal to kill any deer today. i have recently found a good buck and i have a stand right where he is travelin and workin rubs.
i am only huntin the stand a couple of times a week, i dont want to pressure him, but he is definately there and i think he is a pretty good one. when he comes out im gonna wait on that perfect shot, i dont want to lose him when i shoot him.
this one deer has me thinkin about him all day everydays, and all i want to do is hunt HIM. if i can keep someone else from takin him im gonna take him with my bow. if it comes around to dog season and i havent killed him, well.... ill put the ole blue ticks on him i guess.

You never know it might be a real wall hangger!A larger deer will rub a smaller tree but a smaller deer want rub a larger tree.Well I read that somewhere anyway..
