Any time there is a bunch of puppies in one spot, coccidia is likely.
I got a pup from California that brought it with her. Rather than the Albon liquid for 21 days (a lot give it for 10) I dropped by the vet and got some 480mg SMZ (Trimethoprim/Sulfamethoxizole) tablets. MUCH cheaper and worked like a charm.

JCross Im glad your formula worked but you should be able to get a bottle of albon from your local coop or farm supply for much cheaper than meds from your vet. hope this might save you some funds in the future. oh i think the last albone i bought at the coop was $12 or something like that for a big bottle hope this helps.

I agree that it IS cheaper for some of the Albon at the co-op, but I do like to give the stronger dose (12% as opposed to 7%) - SMZ (sulfamethoxizole-trimethoprim - or something like that) liquid is the same thing - lol, I don't like dosing liquid unless I have to, so go with the pills. A bottle of 480mg - 250 pills costs me about $15
