what's something good for me to put out in my dog yard to keep the ticks away? i've been getting ticks off all my dogs the past couple days. i havent had a real problem with them till a few days ago.

7DUST works pretty well in the yard as does premetharin and kresote dip.

I use Frontline Plus on my dogs. It is expensive But it works. Try to find a vet or supply place that you can get doses for 90# to 120# dogs. Usually get more for your $. Draw into syringe or pull plunger out hold finger over end and pour in. One 120#: 4/ 30# dogs. Just have to guess. Best way I've found to deal with ticks or fleas.

Adams ,works well on the dog and in the houses,,even keeps the mosquites off to.

I like the Frontline Plus as well. It does a good job even when the dogs are in water.
