i wanted to see what ya'll think i should do to get rid of and prevent fleas off of the pups while they are small like that. i have seen a couple of fleas and i dont want it to get bad before i do somethin about it. but i didnt know if the flea medicines are ok for puppies.

On another forum someone told me to wipe them down or dip them in pine cleaner.!?!?! Said it kept them clean and flea free. I was afraid to try it. Also someone told me rubbing alcohol.

Bathe them with joy lemon dish washing liquid.Make sure you rinse them good.

We always put cedar chips in our kennels, and they never get any.

I thought I heard somewhere that cedar chips were bad for the pups? I wasn't sure why though.

Never had any problems so far. We have at least one litter a year. I remember hearing people with different thoughts on it, but vet says it is okay, and he uses hunting dogs, so...

If they are still on the teet, you can treat Momma with Advantage. The pups will get the meds from the milk. Reccommended by my vet and used on my last litter.
