Well your pretty much right. The trigg is just another strain of foxhound as is the walker. This is the 1st trigg i have ever had so i really can`t tell ya a whole lot about them but i tell ya what , this one of mine will run with the best of walkers that`s for sure.

are u sure that is a trig? most trigs are really reddish or at least mine is. but mine is 3/4 trig. but the mom was 100% trig and she is all red. i'll try to get picture of my trig on here. she looks little different same boxy head though. excellent dog and will keep up with any walker or any day.

Yeah he is definately a trigg...he came from royden baker`s in canada. He is one of the best trigg breeders there is. And the hound has run in the trigg nationals in kentucky also. They are usually darker than he is but like any other hound there are exceptions.

yeah i was just curious , yeah the female i have isn't registered if she was, i'd put her up there with the best though. never have had her in a fox pen , and never want to but gauranteed she run the hide off a deer and keep up with any walker. lol. pretty dog though. got to love that boxy head of a trig. i'll try to get some pictures of my trigg this weekend and post them next week.

heres a picture of 2 of my male fox hounds they are trigg blood, everyone is colored red with white sox and tip of tail, some black backd, white line on head, never any other colors range from 20-24in, 1 or 2 maybe 26 but not many over 24, good deer stock blood, but can run red fox and coyote too and never give up till its dead or in a pond, you hav a fine looking trigg hound, by the looks he can run one down Attachments:
