Have you ever heard of a Chocolate and Tan? It is a genetic mutation from two black and tans that have the recessive gene. I am getting one this weekend. He is about 6 months old. The lady said he is showing signs of wanting to hunt and she lives in the city.

I know. She said that they are from registered B & T parents, and that some guy in Utah is trying to add the breed. Something about 5 generations on the ground then they can be recognized. I think she said that the 4th generation are pups. I don't know, dont care as long as he can tree a bear and a coon. He is nice to look at while he is at it.

Picked him up today. Man, he came from Southern CA. The lady met us in Stockton and said he had puked all the way there. We didn't have the truck, just my Focus! He only puked in there once, luckilly for us! He was all smelly and had puke on almost his entire body. We rode 3 1/2 hours with the windows down in the rain! Ken says he is going to line the dog box on his side with plastic when they head into the mountains!! Sissy did the same thing though when she was little. Then there is Thunder who has to take a poop as soon as she gets in the box. Maybe we will just put those three in the plastic side so it can be hosed out easily! The others can ride in the clean side. He is really beautiful though now that he is home and cleaned up. He gets along well with the other dogs. He and Radar got along great and so did Sissy. he is bigger than Sissy and she is a year. He is almost as big as Radar and Radar is 3. He is only six months! I guess I got my pony!! Will post some new pics with the other dogs as soon as I can.

Tank is sounding and treeing the cats in the house. He is starting to get more confident. At first his tail was between his legs when he was barking. Now his tail is up and wagging with his butt in the air. He also has been treeing on Sarah's Scooby Doo balloon. guess he doesn't like Scooby!!! Goes nuts when the balloon comes out of the bedroom. Ken is getting excited. Two traps in the canyon, hopefully a coon soon,.
