Hey fellas, me and dad went to look at some new trucks today.... Dad intends to get rid of his Expedition in the next few months and wants to trade it off to get a new one. He kinda wanted something better on gas to so we first went to the Dodge place (the number one truck in my opinion). We looked at the 1500 and 2500 Rams with Hemiv8s and Regularv8s but they where all around 40,000 so we moved on over to the Dakota isle.... The Dakota Trucks look really good and we test drove one that had a v8 and 4x4.... It road so smooth it wasnt even funny and sounded good to.... 
Well we got the guys card and went over to the Ford dealership (second best truck next to Dodge).... On the used isle they had one truck that really caught our eye (well two for me).... It was a 2002 Ford F-150 Quad Cab with 4x4 and TRUE DUAL EXHAUSTS!!!! Well the second we started it I was sold on the sound of the thing it just sounds awsome!!!! I have always wanted a truck with true duals cus I love that sound but my truck has a 4cyl so its a no-no for my truck.... We test drove it and it rode really good, had rugged terrain tires on it and did I mention the sweet sound of dual exhaust?
Well we got back and they wanted 18,000 for a truck with only 13,000 miles on it and I didnt think that was bad at all. I loved the truck but dad is still shopping around.... I also looked at a Dodge Dakota with spray on bed liner and mud terrain tires that was a couple years old and really didnt look bad but it had a v6.... You fellas takemeasy and just thought I would share this....-tim

8-)lol.... Dad is currently paying like 400dollars at the most I think for a truck payment and they wanted 600-700dollar payments on that Bergendy F-150 we looked at yesterday.... Dont get me wrong it was and still is a SWEET truck but I agree with Dad when he said "I aint paying no 600dollars a month when I can pay 400 with the truck I got".... Gunna talk to the folks at the Dodge dealership and see what they can do for him but we drove by the Nissan place today and was really impressed.... Dad has never had a problem with Nissan trucks just never had one and I dont got a problem withem neither and actually likem kinda.... Well the service from Alliance Nissan here in Elizabeth City NC was EXCELLENT!!!! I mean they where straight with us and to the point and didnt try to push us into anything so dad likes them already.... We test drove a Nissan Frontier with Quad Cab and 4x4 with spray on bedliner and it was a durn good truck I thought and so did Dad.... It had a v6 so would have plenty of power without being so bad on gas so we are leaning towards Nissan right now unless Dodge can give us some better numbers.... They are asking 25,000 the 05Frontier but we can get a good deal they said cus they are trying to make room for the 06 trucks.... Just thought Id stop in and let yall know that the Ford is just about out the window, you fellas takemeasy and have a good hunting season....-tim
