Well this was late in the 2004 season. We had seen this doe standing in a cut and ran off. I put everyone in places where this deer may cross. i put rebel on the track and the race was on. about 3 min later the doe popped out in this cut. I took 4 shots and missed. I know hehe im embarassed. lol. rebel now is runningeast with it and happy and waaiting for shots as i know someone will see her. Boom Boom Boom Boom another 4 shots and a report that she wasnt even touched. Rebels now out of hearing so i slowly start making my way down the road i come up to a spot where Jack is supposed be but no jack. The deer circled and can hear Rebel coming louder and getting louder then alll of a sudden this doe comes running around the corner shes on the road nows shes 10 feet away im thinking if i miss now everyones going to laugh i squeezed off a shot and the rest is history. Jack comes back and happy but mad he left his spot. Now im the omly one with hounds that hunt deer probably in 5 hour driving radius. So i tell jack always stay in your spot unless i radio to move. I always move as im trying to stay with the dog cause i dont want to go dog hunting later and most times a deer will circle and this one did. He moved after he shot the other 4 times thought hed get ahead of it but there was no where to cut it off. the pic is me and rebel i sure miss him. i had put him down early this hunting season he was really sick and havent been deer hunting yet and wont till theres a hound or 2 runningthere asses off.
