Thanks men, Bootlegger if you look real close on Jack's head, he now has a battle scar form old bandet. I shot a coon out , fairly big old boar, Jack jump in too fast and got nailed. Scared him just a litle but pissed him off more ran back in grab old ringtail, old bandit got lose and Buster grab the coon and killed it all this took place in maybe 30 seconds. I wa real proud of my boy Jack, for his grit for only 6 months old. He may not make a great hound but Jack ant forsale, out of all my hounds Jack is my buddy, goes every where I go , runs along by the 4 wheller or rides along on the rack. He just likes to hunt and have fun.

I like the English. It reminds me of my first hound Bandit an English male out of virginia. Got killed by tracking me to work one day and where i went up to thehighway and followed the road he tracked me on it and got hit> Sad day. But hey this is your post and really wanted to say very nice lookin hounds.

To have taken a hit and go back for more at 6 months I think he is going to make a heck of a coon hound. I have a 11 month old I gotta get started training. He is still a baby, even though he weighs at least 60 lbs.

i dont know. I never caught them breeding but I keep them penned together throughout her heat cycle so I'm hoping. The female looks identical to Mid Night but has a different mom. I think Jack is gonna be big like his dad but he shore looks like his mom. I need to get in touch with Will and find out how Jack's brother is doing.
