I ordered one today. I was told that I could go to Garmin and pay $30.00 and download what is basically google earth and it will show dogs from a aireal view. This will enable you to see when the dog goes into timber, come out in a field or cut with a actual aireal view. Only problem is I want have it until October, they are on back order. I taught someone on here might already have one how could let me know how they like it. I like my 220 now and hope I have not waisted my money. It is about the same price as the 220 I paid 565.00 for the 320 and one collar.

The upgraded antenna and upgraded dc40s pick up at longer distances. My friend used his the other day while we were running dogs. I'm dying to get one before our deer dog season opens.

Troy- the 320/ upgraded dc40 changed my mind and the only thing holding me back from buying one was the distance problem. Although I will keep a telemetry collar on mine also for extra long distance tracking. I'm warming up to them Troy ;D

So I have been using mine since season started and have figured out it is pretty much the best thing since sliced bread. You know exactly where they are, when the cross a creek, when they are in the road, in a clear cut or what ever. Garmin does need to increase the range, that is my only problem with it.

It's the greatest invention out there besides shockers. I can't believe how easy it makes cutting them off. I get a mile or more range out of mine with the longer antenna.I've seen guys that keep updating their collars get worse and worse range so I've never updated my collar.

We have a beagle that gets tight mouthed after the first or 2nd race with the 220, I have heard of the birdeyes view with the 320 and hope to have one of them soon, that would be awesome

Maybe in open country they might get the maximum range but not even close to that in these thick pines and hardwood swamps here. I've never seen much over a mile of range from anyone's system. I still run a quicktrack on all mine as backup.

I still run quicktrack also but, with the 320 you don't have to beep over her and then go to the other side of the block and beep again you know where the dog is exactly. Garmin does need to increase the range , I will sometimes loose communication while the dogs are in the same block.

I drove all our backroads and saved them as tracks. Kind of a pain, but the only way to get all the dim roads . Kind of suprised me to know there were 90+ miles of backroads in the small area we hunt. Just make sure you leave the track log off or it will fill your memory up.
