i second that it's also good for u too because u will be able to get in front of hem (or her) to see just what he (or she) is doing because 9 times out of 10 the yots around here run in big circles they are also good for speed traing your dog also .. i like them to be in the pens because if u run in a field trial u will score more points running a yote than a fox due to him running a big circle and not losing the dogs as easily he will stay just far enough in front of the dogs not to be caught by the dogs ..

nawww, i put a beagle in a pen with only yotes as a puppy trainer, and she pounds on them!!! i have a 18 inch walker hound that i run in the yote pen and she puts it on them.... and as far as foxes they barely ever cross they just stay in the woods

well its easier, but as far as a pen you want some yotes and some foxes and do not run that dog in the pen to much or you will ruin him.....

if you want to run fox find a fox pen that has nothing but gray fox in it. they will run more like they do in the wild, WILL make a hound use his nose. i have seen to many coyotes that just run fast enough to stay ahead of the dogs.

I have also seen yote's put young pups/dogs back up under the truck. They seem to know what is behind them sometimes. If they think they can get the upper hand, they will put them back to the truck quick!!
