A few years back I hunted out of a 97' Nissan 4x4. It was regular cab but I had 265 sport king A/Ts on it and I couldnt get it stuck. It got about 18mpg with stock tires but after I put the bigger tires on it it dropped down to 16mpg. Plus I didnt drive it that easy neither. It had a 4cyl in it and it was 5-speed. Most dependable truck I ever owned. After a ton of hard miles the front end went out. Got it fixed and tons of miles later it went out again so I got rid of it. The guy that bought it wrecked it after two weeks. Not a day goes by I dont miss that old nissan, tough lil trucks, not a dought in my mind..

Toyota all the way, I have had them all and now I have a 2007 toyota 4x4 tacoma 4 door and I dog hunt in Fla and Alabama and have had only minor problems. I have found that they last longer and get better gas milage if you dont lift them. You can usually get 33's on them with just a leveling kit on the front.
