KC i run my redbone with walkers and he keeps up fine. but he has a colder nose and when the walkers lose the track he comes and straightens it out.

same here. i actually run with some ruuning walker 2 weeks ago. my young redbone male ran up front for quite awhlie, they were going back and forth for the 1st 3 hrs. after that it was just my redbone, the walkers fell out of the race. don`t get me wrong, my hounds were in alot better shape. 2 weeks ago i ran my 2 younger hound thurs-sun, they ran over 100 miles on the gps. thursday for 8 hrs, fri 10 hrs sat-sunday 6 hrs a piece.
